Professor Bill Castellano will be the facilitator for this event.
In this challenging and fast-changing environment, engaged employees may be a key to competitive advantage. Organizations that understand the conditions that enhance employee engagement will accomplish something that competitors will find very difficult to imitate.
A review of major studies clearly demonstrates that employee engagement is strongly related to a range of individual and organizational outcomes including retention, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance. However, within both the practitioner and academic research there is a lack of consensus regarding how employee engagement is measured and what are the key drivers and conditions that enhance employee engagement.
This workshop will present the results of the culmination of an in-depth study on employee engagement the Center for HR Strategy commissioned of both the practitioner and academic research. A new framework of employee engagement will be introduced that will enable participants to effectively measure employees’ levels of engagement as well as the key drivers and strategic outcomes of engagement.
